DIY: Gift tags, gift wrap and Christmas card decorations

Celebrate Christmas in style with graphic gift wrap. Our designer Bente Helstrøm has hand-drawn illustrations for Christmas wrapping paper, gift labels and cards that you can download and use free of charge.

Print, cut out and attach to gifts using a perforator and thread. The tags are made to match the wrapping paper below. The gift tags are available both as Christmas ornaments (baubles) without text and as more traditional ‘to and from’ labels. The gift tags can be combined, so you can use several on each gift.

The illustrations can be placed over your own pictures to create Christmas e-cards or printed out. Create the cards in graphics applications like Adobe Photoshop or Microsoft PowerPoint. To adjust the illustrations on the pictures, you can crop and adjust the size of the illustration. You can use the same illustration repeatedly if you want to have several Christmas bauble ornaments on the pictures.

About the designer

The design was hand-drawn by Pierre Robert’s designer Bente Helstrøm. Bente designs the Pierre Robert wool collection for Women, wool sports clothes, and our children’s collections . Almost every child in Norway has Pierre Robert underwear with hand-drawn patterns by Bente.

“I grew up in Harstad, a small town in Northern Norway, in the 70s. We were a creative family and made everything by hand. We knitted, whittled, wove and embroidered. A Christmas workshop was a matter of course for me - and still is. I like to put some effort into my gift wrapping and enjoy making it a little more personal using handmade materials. It’s not the price of the gift that matters, but the thought that went into both the gift and its presentation.”

Bente has extensive experience as a designer and has worked for several well-known clothing brands. In addition to designing for Pierre Robert, she also runs a Christmas market for designers at DogA in Oslo.
